New Season Of Biting Shrimps 2020

My two super cute turtles have got into their new round of shrimp-biting season!!!

 They at sooo big now!!! About 25+cm in diameter!!!

Look, what a couple of them!!! 

The lighter colour one on the left is the cunning female Timon, and the darker one on the right is the male one Pumbaa!!!

She is still prefer my hand-feeding!!!

More eggs are expected from her this summer!!! Fingers crossed!!!

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs!!!

Finally, my female turtle Timon laid her first bunch of eggs!!!

So excited!!! Thrilled!!! Happy!!!

 Actually, she laid three eggs. But only one was rescued from her jaw or bites!!!

Timon seems have no idea what this egg in front of her means to her!!!

Here is Pumbaa with the egg!!!

After another round of shrimp-biting, my Timon and Pumbaa are growing bigger in every dimension!!!

Turtles At Large

Another shrimp-biting season for my two lovely turtles, Timon and Pumbaa.

Pumbaa has been very active these days. After meals, he will strap out his dining pool and stroll all over around as if he is claiming every inch as his territory.

Well, as for Timon, she is much sedentary!!! It's said that female ones would be very agitated and active to seek the ideal spot for nestling eggs. Disappointedly, it seems my not-little-any-more Timon shows no signs for laying eggs!!!

New Round Of Turtle Activities

My two not-little-any-more turtles, Timon amd Pumbaa, are greeting the April spring!!!

To my surprise, I find they migt even grow in size during hibernation period when I am watching them taking little bites of shrimps today!!!

It's obvious that they have yet to recover their appetite after several months slumber!!!

As the habitual thing, Timon is still fond of my handfeeding!!!

Energy Charging Under The Sun

Such a long time period between the last post on my two lovely turtles, Timor and Pumbaa!!!

With the purpose of egg-laying from Timon, I decided to let them be in the environment easy access to some natural green and flowers and the sunlight, which, I think, is good for Timon, especially, to lay some eggs!!! 

They are so big now. And Timon is at the right size(almost 20cm+ in diametre) and age to lay/produce eggs!!!

BUT!!! The disappointed me again!!! 

Still no egg this year!!!

Well, as it has been turning into autumn season, the gradually chilling weather shut down their appetite. 

See, thay are soaking in warm sunlight charging the energy bar full and getting prepared for the coming winter slumber!!!
