Timon's Moon Festival

Every 15th of August in chinese lunar calendar is the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, or in short, the Moon Festival!!! I'm not very fond of chinese culture and its traditional festivals, partly because, most of them, if not all of them, are about eating some specials!!! But this one is so-so.

I'd like to share how Timon spent her Moon Day:

After woken by my "Hallo"s, she, and Pumbaa, enjoyed their first meal and did some swimming. Then, they crawled into the living room. The floor of this room is so familiar to them that they can directly spot their favourite hiding niche. Usually, they'd rather hiding there till the clock ticking  reminds them it's time for their second meal!!!

Today is different for Timon, because she crawled out much earlier then usual--before noon. Maybe she knows it's the holiday!!! In that case, I decided to give her a special moon-day. So I introduced her to a toy dolphin:
Oh, at first, she doesn't like her pinky pal!!!
After a while, Timon is saying HI to her!!!

Then, I let Timon see what she looks like in the mirror!!!
It seems that she was enjoying the image of herself!!!
"Oh, this is the front side of me!!!"
"Ooh, my right side is not so bad!!!"

You know what, Timon sticked to the mirror for the rest of the daytime!!! The moment she looked into the mirror and stretched out her left back limb; the next moment, she turned to me and stretched out her right one!!!

Yoga-going Timon

Oooh, Pumbaa dozing the day away in his shadowy niche!!!

This is what traditional chinese mooncakes look like (actually, it's the same as pie)!!!
This one is with filling of meat:

This one is with filling of 10% coconut +10% cream +80% sugar!!!

Pumbaa likes the mooncake!!!

Timon has no interest in it at all!!! Maybe she knows it contains tons of sugar!!!
